Soon I will be playing in the background at coffee mornings, with my gigging instrument, also a Wersi, but slightly smaller. ![]() Playing an organ in church, in the presence of a congregation. It has only taken 55 years to achieve this milestone. And recently, at church, they played a Youtube recording of my playing. In my spare time (!) I play my own really gorgeous old electronic organ. That was fine until the industry disappeared. I started off by doing not to good at school, but got an engineering apprenticeship, on the idea of it being a job for life. So, If you have, or have had contamination Ocd, then we share a useful skill and experience. How I came to have that pen name is a topic to chat about at another time. I am a published writer on my own experiences of Obsessive Compulsive disorder (OCD), under the pen name of 'Marcus John Kim'. I am what is known as an adherent, within the Salvation Army church. I have a wonderful wife, children and grandchildren, that keep me on my toes so to speak. (What a crazy ride that was!) I am in my mid sixties, and a married grandparent. As my title suggests, I am in recovery from Contamination and checking OCD, of many years. It actually works for everyone, regardless of faith or faithless. You will actually find time for other people, but you need the strength to do it. The JOY principle as it should be, and now is. Vicious, and nasty, Greed on top of Greed, they had more fiddles going than the London Philharmonic orchestra! Yes, I could have died, they were, metaphorically speaking, taking the very air out of my lungs. They damn near took everything I had, including my life. Needless to say, I no longer work in the private care industry. As a care worker you will be doomed to fail. Most people in Britain don't put anyone first, so yourself will never get put anywhere. ![]() It used to be, Jesus first, Others second, Yourself last. 'The Happiness Seekers' is a good read in production right now. And yes, it really is as heavy as it looks, it rides on canoe wheels. On top of it's modified flight case, That from next year, will be my gigging keyboard. The final picture at the bottom row is my Wersi Abacus Soloist Plus. The two pictures underneath, are prototype artworks for two more future books, currently in production, by myself: Second along in the top row is myself, and my lovely wife, on holiday in Spain, next is a woodland lake scene, and then finally, the organ I have now.
